Why This Page Exists
Every person deserves to be understood in full.
Overcomers Society was not created because I believe my story is more important than anyone else’s. It was created because I learned firsthand how incomplete a public story can become.
A newspaper article may describe an arrest. A conviction may describe legal responsibility. Neither necessarily tells the complete story of a human life.
I did not know it in 2014, but the idea that our actions narrate our autobiographies would eventually become part of the philosophical seed from which Humanity’s Living Autobiography grew.
